Tech Day at Xtreme Paintball

Posted by Ian Lilly on March 21, 2012 at 12:45 AM Comments comments (8)

For those of us interested, the officers are trying to plan a team "Tech Your Marker" day at:

Xtreme Paintball in Windsor CT.
(Click here for field info and conditions)

This is the Saturday before West Point Combat Classic.  West Point is going to be a high profile event so it would be a shame if we showed up to this event and all of our markers failed.

We can run around their field and play some rec games, or just hang out shoot the breeze and chrono our markers.

Time: 1100 to 1400  Saturday 3/24/12

Hope to see everyone there!!!

Mime Money II

Good morning! I tried to post as a comment but my phone is being argumentative at the moment. Just wanted to clarify that we will go to a bottle deposit station, like at Stop and Shop, to deposit glass, plastic, and aluminum. So the materials do not necessarily have to have the recycle symbol on them, they just need to be able to be deposited in a CT bottle return.

Mime Money Making Tactics

Good morning!! As our team grows to new heights, there are quite a few items and far away places members are expressing interest in. So, I would like to propose an idea. If we save cans and bottles and then make a team bottle drive day, we can use that money as a fundraiser and place it in our account for team expenses, in addition to team dues. Between all of us, we could rake in quite a bit of money. Please post any thoughts, and start collecting!

Hydrate or Die!

Please everyone playing at the Strategy Plus event this saturday 6/11/11 drink lots of water the night before.  Regardless of the weather condiotns it will either be hot as hell or humid.  Our current uniform is not the most forgiving in the sun being black and all.  If you need to dress down or feel that the black uniform shirt will be too warm try and wear a black T-shirt to maintain uniformity.  If you cannot make that happen its ok I will not beat you unless you are into that. Cause I don't mind every now and then.

Strategy Plus East Hampton CT

We will be commanding this event. Yay!!!

We need as many Mimes as possible to show for this event and represent our true spirit for the sport.

"Ages of Strategy will be the first real " Strategy" game of our series. This game's missons, theme, and props will be based off of the PC game " Ages of Empires" If you have not gotten the chance to play it I highly reccommend. You can download a free verision on a number of different sites.

Each team will be provided with a "town center" which will be the central location that each general will have to be stationed at throughout the game. This will be the place that the teams collect props will be stored.

Each team in the beginning of the game will receive:

x number of gold

X number of stone

x number of food

x number of wood

Gold will be used to purchase points and/or any of the other 3 resoures above.

Food will be used to help generate respawn windows and other activities through out the game.

Wood will be used to build fences, outposts and many other things throughout the game.(different color tape for fences Etc)

Stone will be more advanced then wood which they both are used to do the same thing. (different color tape for fences Etc)

EMR XXXI Results

Great job to everyone who defended the castle this year at Castle Conquest XXXI!!!  The end result was 6 to 1 odds.  We held the castle for 2 hours and 10 minutes.  We may have lost the castle but we sure as hell made them work for it. Also a special thanks to everyone who was able to make it to this event.  Also Alicia Grzywinski for taking all of those awesome pics and making the event memorable.  It was very expensive and I know that it set people back a bit in thier pocket books.  Until the next time....
